Fresh off the grunge truck, with an armload of floral maxi dresses, flannel shirts and a pair of electric blue Doc Martens boots I landed in the western fringes of Chelsea. The Meatpacking District still smelled like week-old meat, and I grocery shopped at Western Beef.
